"...though He does not deprive me of feeling in my trial,
He enables me to sing,
“Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.”
Thus I do rejoice by His grace
and will rejoice and praise Him while He lends me breath.
Now I am happy in my Saviour’s love.
I can thank Him for all,
even the most painful experiences of the past,
and trust Him without fear for all that is to come.”
– Hudson Taylor
Tomorrow at some unearthly hour I'll be kissing my family goodbye
and boarding a plane home for my father's funeral.
Home...
I find myself wondering what it will be like
to be back in my home culture for a few days.
Like something out of a storybook...
I'm so thankful for the opportunity to go to be with my family at this time.
Please pray...
Please pray...
for my family that I leave behind
as they begin a new home school year
with their teacher out of the country...
For the trip,
and that we will 'trust Him without fear for all that is to come.'
Thank you so very much.
I hope to be back blogging again in not too very long.
