We see painted cars with company logos here all the time. Dasani water, M&M's, even sports teams. I've been told that companies hire people to use their car for advertising purposes, and people who can't afford to fix up (new tires, paint job, engine repairs) their own car accept. These people also get paid to drive around town for certain amounts of time to promote the product.
Oh, ooops! That comment was from me not my sweet husband. But he is the one who told me the answer to "Why are these cars driving around with obscure logos?" :)
hi Jaymi! :) yes, we have ad cars here, too - but these taxis are just using a knock-off reference to Visa and Mastercard - maybe hoping to induce a feeling of solid security? :D
