Amy and Elise's middle school basketball team played their first game against a Filipino school on Friday.
The school system in the Philippines is different than in the States.
Children go to Elementary School through 6th grade,
and then on to High School for grades 7 through 10.
So their team was playing against girls who were somewhat older (and more experienced!) than they, but their team worked together beautifully.

Amy is a point guard and got worked hard running about 3/4 of the game.
The school has a covered court, perfect for playing in a hot climate. (It's awfully nice for the spectators, too, to be in the shade!)
